Calligramme.. brings together transparent images and fragments of photographs of texts on a luminous surface. The images come from many places in the world. The hands that position them on the light table are kept invisible. The moves and decisions follow an intuitive logic, similar to a conversation or some kind of play. There is no sound or voice over, so the conversation is kept between the images. The title references a quote from the Quebec poet Marie Uguay, from whom the collective also borrows its name. Here the afterlife alludes to the ghost of the images, their many lives.
