Regular meeting at Hexagram

Raymonde puts together a slideshow of photos that narrate Afterlife’s activities to date. It consists of images that were collected from the timeline on our online forum on Facebook—photographs taken during the meetings, screen captures of the materials that we shared, traces of exhibitions and events that are related to the members of the group. While the slideshow plays, Raymonde proposes the idea of making the archiving activity itself an artwork. With this idea, she expresses her interest in having everything written down and traced as we move along as collective, documenting the group’s progress through a form of storytelling, perhaps accumulating photographs that would be taken during the regular meetings and potlucks, as well as during the upcoming trips. Raymonde wants to make the collective experience of the group itself the central focus of our research.

We have confirmed the dates for our trip to Kamouraska to be the weekend of May 15.
